Tuesday 14 July
Today we hung around the anchorage – had a couple of dips in the clearest of water and
went ashore to have lunch – a bit of a celebration.
The boat is just covered in so much salt – every surface you touch is just slimy – so we have decided that we will go into one of the marinas and a) provision up – running out of water, b) wash her down, c) complete chores such as laundry, defrost the freezer and washing down ...
... we had passed the day before.
There was a huge motor boat anchored right in the middle of the bay therefore finding a suitable spot to anchor in proved pretty tricky.
Another boat which had arrived just before us turned out to be a Danish couple we had
met last year on our travels. We last saw them in Lisbon. Had a quick chat which was nice.

However, there is one thing which I think Disney does do better than Royal Caribbean. Towel animals. We are looking forward to sailing to Minorca and on to Corsica and Sardinia but for now we are enjoying the sun and the sea and oh, a glass or two of red. Nothing changes!
PS...in Duncan's absence we tried fishing off the stern. Duncan's luck held and we arrived back in port with zero fish....tomorrow we will use Carol's technique and enjoy a fishy supper!
