... to dry figs on and make perfect kindling, but Seb's boss doesn't like to scratch his (expensive) car when (rarely) visiting the finca, so it was necessary to cut back the verges and my job to lop down these amazing plants. In the last three weeks we've had quite an impact in the finca, the bathrooms are super clean, the kitchen has newly covered shelves, clean cutlery and dishes and is extremely snug. I mopped ...

I'd like to sketch the twisted olives that are being cut back in the valley.....and I do need to get going with the ...

... walkways....so much stone and amazing ancient olives twisted by age or rage. Other walkers, the few that I met, all seemed to be heading to or coming from Fonalutx, so I located this on the map and set forth up the Camino de sa Figueres and up behind the Puig De Balitx. The walk was stunning...unfolding from the terrace steeps to pine woods and cliff walled shady hollows. I hardly met anyone and emerged at the romantic little town. It's idyllic. Warm ...
