... Chris is currently learning Portuguese i believe. All in all a very successful flight so far. Oh and the leg room is ample and we get blankets and pillows. Brilliant. Very uneventful nights travel.... Waited in Corfu Port for Ferry, only 2 hours late, so of course late in Bari. Lucky we didn't book train tickets..... found an Aussie couple to talk to, he was a Harley Mechanic in Perth.....:) of course Merv put **** on him.
Train trip was good, as fast train..... though train station was hectic as arrived about 5pm....not so good....ended ...
Today we were heading for Gennargentu National Park – It's where the highest mountain in Sardinia stands. We took an obvious route into the mountains today as there was quite some distance to cover in order to get there. First stop was at a supermarket to get supplies for lunch – armed with crackers, cheese, tuna, tomatoes and nectarines we head northbound.

... Italian. The nuraghi complex was called Su Nuraxis, like our hotel. It was a dark basalt nuraghi, with lots of village huts around, all made of stone, though they would have had wooden roofs. One hut had a water basin in the centre, with seating around it, and an oven. Could it have been a sauna? It was presumed to have been used for spiritual ceremonies.
It wasn't really even known what the nuraghi's had been for at all, whether they were religious centres, homes or ...
