... good views and ended up at some random Greek tavern with the classic tomato and soft cheese salad. The beach we found was pretty rural and windy but a good place to free the nip. It was nice as well to do the bikes and have some exercise, I think I miss exercise, is that a thing?! The boat was hilarious. It was just me and Eavie who did it because it was €45 for the day which was pretty pricey but we just thought yolo. It was pretty chilling, we stopped off at some caves ...

The sea was much calmer than the night before and the engine worked reliably all the way. Somewhen in the process, G had woken up and I had brought him up to speed. You have to sit out the front of the building to send a text message. Not quite the convenient, free WiFi access I was hoping for. Chalk it up to another traveller experience.

No idea what we will be doing tomorrow yet - probably a beach or two I think. Be nice to chill out and relax.

... to jump into the car to maximise the fare! We were chatting to him about how busy it was and he laughed and said this was nothing; in high season you can't even get a taxi straight off the boat because he's already sold his services to someone for heaps of cash, so everything has to be pre-arranged if you want to get anywhere.

Anyway, we were soon cruising around from the new port where the big ferry docks towards Mykonos town and we got our first ...

... is a maze but whereas Venice streets have names, Mykonos doesn't. The streets are really narrow, and although no cars can fit down them, they use little trucks and scooters to transport goods. Whenever a vehicle needs to go past, everyone has to squash into the doorways or hop up on the steps. If the truck needs to go around a corner, it has to do a multiple manouvres. All of the buildings are painted white ...
