... can find your way around that is. We were lost for maybe 30 minutes until we found someplace we could identify on the map that allowed us to get back on track for getting to St Mark's Square. It was dinner time for us as all we had from breakfast on the plane were a couple of small items like pizza at a small place by our hotel. We picked a place on the way to St Mark's and what to my surprise Marge order Sepia Spaghetti which is a black ...

... The hotel concierge told us that we should book our taxi to the airport the afternoon prior to our flight. It was mid-afternoon at this point so we made our way back to the hotel to book the taxi. Along the way we had to make a pit stop to grab some gelato for Amanda. Staff were excellent, they offered us a pitch in the sun or shade so we chose the shade (under the trees) to keep the van cool, and then we got bitten to pieces!!! Flaming mozzies everywhere! Had a swim in the pool on the Sunday and then took a walk into town and found they ...

... the beach was just across the road, we were happy with our shady pitch in the pine woods and after the places we’d stayed over the previous few days we wanted to relax and enjoy some swimming. We cycled the short distance to the beach but instead of the wild grassy, sand dunes we had imagined, we were met with the sight of hundreds of (14 euros a day) parasols and sun loungers . The beautiful, sandy beach was a commercial, nightmare with barely any ...

... chocolate. Amazing! Few hours later we were in Venice. Our campsite there was quite good, but the showers were super dodgy. Wouldn't want to go there again just because of that. There was a bar/club and supermarket though which was good. The first night there we didn't do much. Had a couple of 3euro breezers at the bar and that's it. Dinner started with a shot of Lemon-cello each and a biscuit and dip platter. *JUST REALIZED I FORGOT TO WRITE AN IMPORTANT DETAIL IN ONE OF ...
