... for this story. We gained control of our laughter and finished cleaning bird **** off my pants and sweatshirt. On with the day, a funny day at that. At one point we even made it to the local architecture university (I think it was called IUAV). That wasn't as funny as some other things, but we moved on. We eventually got to the bus station and checked out what to do to catch a bus to the airport when we leave, it didn't seem too complicated. We then walked along the north ...

Let this be a lesson to you, book early, book often, once you're on board, if it's a better deal (and the dcl agent will run the numbers for you) you can book the cruise again and save a ton, it may mean that you'll have 2 staterooms booked for a short period of time, but the savings ...

... same... Lufthansa. Then we flew into Milan. We found out tour guide and hopped on a bus to pick up the third group in our full EF group. The guide said it's best to try to stay awake until 10 PM here time to avoid jet lag but I'm pretty sure everyone fell asleep on the bus. Our bus driver is extremely skilled at taking the sharp turns of streets over here. After ...

... in cafes charging 20 Euros per coffee including cover charge to listen to the music (but it is free to walk past and appreciate the music drifting across the square) and took some night time photos. We then headed back again on the Vaporetto. At the Rialto stop, about half way back up the canal, the boat got really crowded with too many people cramming into the boat, pushing and shoving, and a man told Chris to get up as he wanted to sit down, that seat is reserved for ...
