... an all day ferry ticket and started heading for San Marcos's square. What an experience to travel the waterways of Venice. I pinched myself. I had had an image of Venice in my head and it was a little different but still magnificent. Some of the children had imagined everyones house door ending at the water and them stepping into boats. Some didn't realise that there would be streets to walk on. So we all had a readjustment of thoughts. We had waited a fair while ...

The joy of having time in Venice is wandering and getting lost. Today Sandra and Peter went to visit Peter's relatives. We decided to go somewhere I haven't been before.....S. After driving all day with a few stops for food, we arrived at the ...

Niomi jumped in the shower first because she doesn't deal with the heat like normal people. I then jumped in after her to cool down and de-stress. We relaxed in our room for a little while before doing some site seeing.

We stayed pretty local this day just because we had a long so far. We went to the local shop to pick up some breakfast ...

... the beach was just across the road, we were happy with our shady pitch in the pine woods and after the places we’d stayed over the previous few days we wanted to relax and enjoy some swimming. We cycled the short distance to the beach but instead of the wild grassy, sand dunes we had imagined, we were met with the sight of hundreds of (14 euros a day) parasols and sun loungers . The beautiful, sandy beach was a commercial, nightmare with barely any ...
