    ... here at Heathrow, so I've even bought a top here, still shopping at the last minute. Today we spent a bit of time going back and getting some things we saw yesterday in Oxford and Regent streets, as we couldn't cope with the crowds and queues any longer.     We awoke on this last day of the cruise to be coming in to Portoferraio! A beautiful clear day in the harbor of the Island of Elba. It is the islands largest city and because of its terrain many of its buildings are situated on the slopes of a tiny hill surrounded on three sides by the sea!     ... wrong. Eventually we found the sign post and the trail marker, and after that it was straight forward, and straight up. The church is an incredible engineering feat, even though it's only small. The Virgin Mary, sits atop some enormous rocks, and the church sits on a solid rock foundation, even forming the start of the walls in some places.
