      So after what feels 24hours in the dark, arriving in fiji and sleeping for literally another 20 hours I am awake and outside! Plane journeys were great, had 2 seats to Hong Kong and a row of 4 to Nadi! Hint for future airport travel - never allow me to do a transit flight alone!! Ended up trying to board the wrong airline and leaving my passport/ …

      ... me to actually hate the cocky *******s who had dared to purchase such tickets allowing them to 'jump' the queue!). When we finally did make it to the desk we were told that we would be required to wait for our tickets as they did not have a printer available at the front desk and that all tickets had to be printed from the office! Has anyone thought that it might, perhaps, be more efficient to purchase some printers for the front desks as well?? Even when we did ...

      ... islands. Too damn fresh for words! Once we were done eating I was asked to "release" the group. We thanked everyone for lunch, got back on the bus and drove less than a kilometer to the school. Not sure why we didn't just walk.
      Our tour company has been visiting this village for eight years and rotate between its four schools. They chose this village because it was one that was in need of help the most, to this day there is no running water or electricity ...

      Sun Jun 15th

      We left Adelaide on the red eye to Sydney at 6am in the morning. It was about 8 degrees and still dark. We landed in Fiji at 3.30 their time to lovely warm sunny weather. We caught the Club Fiji shuttle bus and managed to smuggle mum and Monika on as well even though their transport wasn't included in their hotel fees.

      The place was nice enough but we couldn't wait to get off ...
