Dominion International Hotel Nadi

I arrived in Nadi (pronounced Nandi) after a night flight with a child kicking my chair all night and was very grateful for my host, Diane, to allow me to sleep the day away and wake to a glorious cooked lunch.

... of Iso Lei ever! Arrived at Beachcomber. All the toilets weren't working. It smelled, and it was really touristy. It was a shame that it was such a let down. The atmosphere was **** and there were mice.
We absolutely loved all the islands, it was a fantastic experience, we are just forgetting about Beachcomber - we left early. Getting our flight to LA tonight which we are excited about!! We're crossing the International Date Line as well, which is a new thing for us!! Love you all x

... Apparantly some of the Chiefs of other islands can be quite intimidating!!) Lunch is at 12.30pm and usually followed by time to chill out in the hammmocks with a book! We're summoned again to the kitchen for afternoon tea around 3.30pm and dinner at 6.30pm...such a hard life!!!

pour 2.50$ canadiens. Oke, on a mange a la chambre presque tous les
soirs mais c est le fun de pouvoir sortir facilement. Il y a
plusieurs navettes qui relient le port et les hotels mais on peut
aussi marcher(!) une quinzaine de minutes.

... Inselchen. Teilten uns die Insel auch nur mit einer handvoll andrer Touris. War eine lustige Gruppe! Schnorcheln, Sonnenbaden und eine Ganzkörpermassage standen auf dem Tagesprogramm. Echt herrlich! Da red ich gar nicht mehr viel und lass die Bilder sprechen! Jetzt wieda was immer kommen muss: Geht nach Fiji wenn ihr könnt und genießt die Zeit dort. In Fiji ist nämlich alles etwas anders. Dort herrscht Fiji-Time! Was das ist werdet ihr dann selbst erfahren! Vinaka!

... around clucking in Fijian dialect. One thing I've noticed: The locals are SO friendly! Everyone you pass says the greeting "Bula!" (it means everything from Cheers! to Hey! to What's up?! to Yo yo!) before you get a chance to react first, and kids wave from across the street. Even with this newfound tan, I evidently stick out. eheh Funny enough, folks from the hostel - obviously foreigners - don't smile or say hello. Makes you wonder ...

An einem Tag hat mich ein Fiji Maedchen am Pool angesprochen und wir haben uns verabredet fuer abends. Gluecklicherweise war sie die, die immer das Eis verteilt hat, d.h. durch sie habe ich 4 mal Frei eiscreme bekommen.
