So after what feels 24hours in the dark, arriving in fiji and sleeping for literally another 20 hours I am awake and outside! Ended up trying to board the wrong airline and leaving my passport/ …

... and called up the Smuggler's shuttle and told me the driver was on his way. It was truly amazing how helpful these people were - and it wasn't even their jobs!! The Smugglers Cove shuttle driver was very buoyant and cheery and dropped me off at reception where I paid my balance, paid $5 Fiji dollars for a bottle of water, and $20 FD for my room key deposit.

I got to my room, took out only what I absolutely needed at the moment, and hopped into bed.
