The weather was mixed today so we decided to go to the town of Berchtesgaden and take a drive up the Rossfeldstrasse, the highest panoramic drive in Germany. It was then time for coffee and a cake in the town before having a quick stomp about. So here we are on the Germany/Austrian border. We arrived yesterday having left Italy and the Dolomites after a fantastic couple of days walking and exploring - we will definitely be back as we both thought it was one of our favourite places of our whole trip :) But now we are ready for just over a week's stay in Bad Reichenhall, which is a spa town on the border with Austria in the bottom right corner of Bavaria. ...
