There were a number of Japanese and Chinese staying at the gust house, I think we were the only European. Going to the lake we caught the bus, as we had the Berchtesgaden card it was free. This meant walking to the train station which was only 550 ...

Gasthaus Alpina: A gloomy, rainy, cold day, our first since leaving Amsterdam. Just as well as it was going to a funny day of traveling. There are a number of factors: 1. I suggested Berchestgaden because of ' Eagles Nest' and it is supposed to be a picturesque spot. 2. I knew we could get there from Innsbruck via Salzburg and by going back into Germany to Freilssang (just not the way we ended up going). 3. We ...
