... but still, the flight exists.

Kind of. No one at Egypt Air—and no website—will give you a boarding pass in advance for this flight, and even in the Cairo airport nobody knows much about it. But it’s there on Expedia, it takes one hour of flight time, and it costs roughly twice as much as the other flights that take 8 hours to get you to Israel from Sharm with connections in Turkey or Athens or Moscow.

The reason I love Sharm el-Sheikh so much is it's a holiday mecca! The place - a gorgeous sea view beach setting - has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Yes it's nice to see the locals and culture on holidays, but here you don't experience the down sides of this. From clubbing to quading in the desert, diving to fine food, this place has everything for an enjoyable ...

... signal to the boat where we were so they can pick us up, during which time we did our safety stop again. Back on the boat there was a nice lunch and in order to prove my adventure spirit I even had some sea food and veggies stew :-D By the time we finished eating we were almost back at Naama bay and from the quay we went straight to the College for all the paperwork. I got my temporary PADI Open Water diver card, so the major objective of the whole trip is now completed :)

... should, was worth it as we chilled out for the day, more snorkelling, poolside lunch etc. And then flight home.

Another good holiday. Shame Israel is so expensive for food, but the cheapness of entry to major sites in israel made up for it. Jordan was good, they need to lower petra price by 10 quid or so though, as it discourages people and the nice locals are suffering. Egypt as always lovely.
