    ... french village. So much opens up, one does not need to be in a whizz bang we have all the attractions location to enjoy. Look, learn, listen = to experience. We venture towards the lakes, within this village it has the canal and on the other side a lake the size on Sydney harbour. We are one month into summer but still very quite, the weather is hot, generally in the low 20s by 10 am and at 30 degrees by 4 / 5 pm.     Today was a great travelling day. We drove from Paris, through the Champagne-Ardenne region of France, crossing over the border into Germany. We are staying overnight in the town of Saarbrucken, which is only about 15 min from the French border.     ... the sidewalk in front of her home. What stood out was that she was not just sweeping right in front of her steps, but all along the property, which was quite large by European standards.     ... VNF man who came quite quickly. Eventually the gates opened. We waited for the lights and eventually he came out and told us to go in and they would operate it manually. It had apparently been hit by lightning but it held us up for almost 2 hours.
