Sarah picked up two nice blue and white Peterborough Utd coloured ones......good choice! Back home, plants in pot and cup of tea on the go. Afternoon wore on and wind became pretty strong plus thunder so quickly ran outside to pop cover on jeep and also rescue the patio chairs....just in time as it did start to rain heavy spots but ...
... The theory of Everything....Stephen Hawking film - excellent. Flight took less time than normal and once we landed we were quickly thro arrivals and in our taxi transfer across to the north. It was raining! Just over an hour and 10 mins later we had a quick pit stop for essential supplies and then up to Buffavento Village. Opened up our place, electric and water turned on, quick check round and all was ok. Snack, beer and bed.

... prettier place than Larnaca, with harbour, mountains in background and grander castle. We had a meal on the harbour side, which was a little over priced, but fine and worth it for one occasion.
Next day we took taxi to Heralion castle for 60TL return. The castle is interesting due to its setting high up in the mountains and offered great views.

... dry heat in good company, relaxing by the pool and on the rooftop terrace, and even getting a little exercise walking up the steep hill to Bellapais village for some nice views and nice food. We had tried to go to the beach to have our lunch, but when we got to Diana beach it was so windy and cold, and lacking life, that we decided to retreat back into the warmth of the mountain air.
