... place on the edge of Brussels, then another within just a few minutes to Waterloo [???], only to find that the highway ramp in the direction of Paris was closed and I was effectively forced to go with my next lift back to Brussels, from where I caught a lift with a truckie from a service station. ... got our hands on the world’s best beer, Westvleteren. Everything about the beer worked. Simply no other way to describe it! It was a dark beer at 12%. So creamy, so tasty. A beer you savored and enjoyed. Even Gem loved it! After the finishing up we had a few more cheeky drinks at the Irish bar (1 euro!). Morning all - well nearly afternoon. I slept for over 12 hours last night. Getting hayfever and left the bee pollen tablets in London! Doh! Off to get some anti-h's when I leave to explore again today.

Went into the city (a whole 3+kms away) via tram (which is like an underground train on most lines).
I walked back and got a wax done. Miming and charades came in handy.
