... had a session with the hand written blog that John had written and to sort it out. He had double entries on the same event and run one day into another, and missed one day completely! This was probably an after effect of his close encounter with a ships anchor whilst trying the dinghy the other day gaining a bad bang on the head (with big lump he said), and could explain why he was like a "bear with a sore head" at times ...

Josephine joined us as we walked to Place Jourdan to sample what we expected to be the best fries we had ever consumed. That assessment might have ultimately been a little lofty, but the fries were certainly good, and the burger I ordered with them was surprisingly good.

... here that draws thousands of tourists is the Flower Carpet. In August every year for just a few days a huge assortment of begonias are laid out in the square to create a "flower carpet". Too bad we missed it as it would be quite a beautiful display.
