... cows and pens of fat geese. It is peaceful and lushly green all around with sweet wildflowers adding perfect color. The fences are made from rocks as are the buildings and rounded shale tiles roof them. The countryside is very hilly and there are a variety of beautiful trees both deciduous and evergreen. Left for station early. Train noy until 12. Took jumper back and got a bigger size. Went to station and bought tickets. Then back for breakfast. Train to Auvergne changed trains and on to Aumond Auvrec. Lovely little village. Visited tourist office got map went for walk to check out where we go tomorrow.
