    Weather: Beautiful sun and warm with just a brief shower whilst driving today - 25 degrees.

    After an early start, well for this holiday anyway, we walked to the bus stop (and it was fine, not raining as it has been the last 2 times we have left Paris) near Bastille Station, hoping that the 91 bus was running. Yay, it was!! This made the journey somewhat easier as it went to the Montparnasse TGV Station making it easier to transport the cases etc. ...

    ... about 60 km away so headed up there after everyone had had a shower. We stopped a a massive hypermarket on the way. It had about 5 sqm of shelving devoted to Nutella and a similar amount to a cheaper home brand. Saw some Speculoos which I'd forgotten about. Well over 200 different kinds of cheeses, 13 different kinds of tomatoes of all shapes, sizes and colours, and fruit from all over the world.     ... realised it was a Salamander. It was black and yellow though and I'm pretty sure those colours mean danger, but supposedly not. On Monday we started work which was quite a long day and tiring as it was moving heavy boxes and parts of wardrobes too a different building up these very old, unstable looking stairs! Steve and Jane gave us the day off today as they had friends coming over for lunch so we were allowed to drive their really old Renault which I think was made in 1985. ...
