So rushing it a bit I left the house and went 2 days to Les Saintes, 2 cute small islands south Guadeloupe. Sleeping in expensive bed and breakfast wasn't an option so I put my hammock wherever I could hide because free camping is not allowed (yeah it's free so...). I slept in the cliff of the south of the island the first night, facing the sea, sharing the place with wild goats. ... We did try the local drinks here though, run with sugar on the rocks with weirdly shaped glasses. If you took a glass and rotated the part that holds the fluid about 30degrees you would be close to the glass that we were using.

Upon finishing the drink we jumped aboard the dingy and set sail for Martinique. Due to reports of thefts from boats and robberies, we were skipping Dominica the island of rain forests ...

... the route was being repaired and so there were replacement mini vans. Que waiting for another hour for the next 'bus'. This one took us half way to the next major town where we would change buses to get to the rain forest. piece by piece we were putting together the transport network of the island.
