... Madame was very grateful and later that evening when her husband came home he insisted on giving us 2 bottles of very good wine as a thank you. We asked him for water! There is a borne here which I think he is able to switch on, so if later that day we still did not have any news, we would ask him to connect us up. Thank goodness for the inverter; by running the engine from time to time we can top up the batteries and keep the fridge going and have showers ...

... not only by my shoes (which she determined were terrible) but from walking up and down hills at too great a speed.

So, tonight, I sat with my foot up and iced, and my companions refused to allow me to move. They made me dinner and did the dishes and ran the errands for me at the stores.

I am truly bummed out by this injury, and I want nothing more than to continue. If I have to walk at 2km an hour, I will do it just to get there. ...

A fortified village in another stunning location, is France really this good?!!! Had a busy day and relaxed for a beer in a local bar before heading back to Herman and some garlic prawns and French Bread that was delicious... A funny day really as it was 33 years since Giles' mum passed away, so we shared a few moments remembering her, God bless! ...

Stopping here was not the intended stop but it's been worthwhile. A lovely walk around the village, took two important phone calls, used the La Poste and had ourselves a fabulous Tuna/Gorgonzola Salad..! Now off to the original place back on ...
