We were up and away on this Friday morning to go up and into Germany proper! Our destination port was Trier, so John had rigged up our 2 Luxembourg Flags yesterday, that would show a courtesy to Luxembourg on the left bank and the German flag showing a courtesy to the Germans on the right bank. We were up at a reasonable time after our tea and John went to try to order the immersion heater element again (yesterday he phoned only to be told to order it online!) without success. He came back to Spring Tide and phoned it through!! Isi in the mean time cooked some bread and got breakfast ready.
