... but I plan to ask tomorrow if I can walk with the two Dutch men. They also like to leave very early and they walk on average 30km a day, and I think that this will be more agreeable to me.
I am happy my companions have shared their lodgings with me this far, and I thank them for their help. I also look forward to a change of pace, whether alone or with new companions.

Slept in today a bit and had breakfast with baguette and croissants and coffee. We then took off for Aubeterre-sur-Dronne a medieval village about 1 hour south of Angoleme....it is famous for its 12 th century church which is carved inside the limestone cliffs of the village.
