We decided to go into town for breakfast. We bought a croissant to eat, with a chocolat chaud at a local bar called La Joker. Lovely and sunny but there is some cloud around keeping the temperature down. 21c today. We had a walk around the local porcelain shop, looking for a cow milk jug for Maggie. ... s not the room with the toilet in the wardrobe! A quick kir before the sun goes down at La Sporting, then back to the Hotel for Dave's kip. We were at Jan & Wally's in time to watch Emmerdale, then came the UNO. What a laugh we had, and Jan won both of the games! Today we spent the day hanging out with other Melbournites in Angouleme. We had a relaxed morning where Mae and Maggie enjoyed a swim in the chilly swimming pool with the frogs (nice picture of them both with their googles on looking at the frogs). Boys played lego and picked blackberries. After a nice lunch of French salami and French cheese we headed down to a local swimming spot in a nearby river.
