      Had books breakfast this morning, as we didn't have time to do any shopping on our way here. Nice breakfast room and we sat outside in the terrace.       We took the optional tour to the Pont du Gard. It was wonderful seeing this ancient treasure. It was interesting to learn that long after the Romans the people used the aqueduct as a road.       ... When he was finally allowed to paint he painted 150 paintings. During this time he also did 100 drawings. Unfortunately none of his work is here. They do have pictures of his paintings in the spots where he painted. It was nice to be walking in his footsteps. However, I discovered that Arles did have a museum with his paintings L' Espace de van Gogh. Viking didn't arrange a visit on either of their Van Gogh tours - I find this unbelievable!
