... its bay are part of the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. It was amazing on the outside, very simple but beautiful on the inside. After our visit, we headed to Rennes and caught a train to Paris. (There is a much more stressful truth to this part involving more bad decisions on a travel day, poor French signage, and long lines at Europcar but I'll omit it here... We spent the weekend in Bretagne, one day in Nantes, and a few days in the sea resort town of La Baule, spending some quality time with family, taking the sun, enjoying the food and exploring the surroundings.

Nous avons passe le weekend en Bretagne, un jour a Nantes puis quelques jours a La Baule. Nous avons pu nous y reposer, profiter de la famille, du soleil, de la cuisine francaise et explorer les allentours.

Mon 18th May

Another damp drizzly day for us to drive to Arzon, right out on a peninsula on the Gulf of Morbihan, where we arrived about 12.00. It brightened up after a while so we had a look around the harbour, hundreds of yachts ready for us to spend our pennies on (if we had some) then a 20 min hike up to Le Petit Mont which is a tumulus which was built in 2500BC as a burial ground. The Germans built ...
