    ... that made our backdrop. We continued to walk and climbed a tower to get a great 360 view, definitely worth the huffing and puffing. Extremely randomly we heard music coming from a cave just off the city wall, why not go check it out? I can't really explain, but it was kind of an underground event that was being setup, but with projectors, chairs, blue lights and booze. One thing mentioned earlier was that museums were free on a Sunday, however one thing they failed to mention ...

    ... progressed to the land of the rental cars - seemed smooth running, well, when papa had queued up for the CORRECT rental car company - apparently assuming you are at the right queue is not ok. Then the mission to find the upgraded car (Ford Focus, wahoo). It was quite liberating to find the car via the use of the practical 'remote control' technology.     ... in - we're unsure what the French call these roads, but generally they are 3 lanes each way - and found it ok. We pulled up next to the pump and a man quickly appeared from behind the pump and starting talking to us in French. We assumed he was the pump attendant, but he was a beggar. The station was unmanned and it was a DIY credit card station which worked fine. The fuel cost 52 euro we think at about 1.30 euro or so per litre. We saw another person filling up who ...

    ... so called' curry house and traipsed off in search of it across La Tet River via the Pont Joffre and past the now defunct Le Punjab which looked like it had been a huge restaurant. However, no curry house was to be found. So we found a Chinese restaurant.

    By the time we had finished we were so full that bed seemed the only option. It was only 9.30pm.

    ... in Vinca, then went back to the Chateau to collect the others and drive them into Perpignan to the airport - 40 min away. We had a 10 min wait for the train, then 30 min on the train. The train fare was only 1 Euro each. . There is limited parking areas so they are trying to encourage more travel by public transport. We got a taxi from the station to the airport and arrived much the same time as Jade Was sad saying goodbye to Jade and Eva, but ...
