    28th June Bulgaria Camping Laguna beach Apparently Laguna means Nudist Beach in Bulgarian

    [D] Summary of Romania's east coast is… it’s a shambles. I suppose we happened to drive head long into one of its Beach Resort town at the start of their summer holidays and also a Saturday night… So the place was packed and the music was pumping.

    ... exciting thing we saw was a protest of Bulgarians with Russian flags protesting against the U.S. About 10 people...no crowd. Just a TV camera. Stefan said they are there every Sunday and talked to them...asked about the Ukraine and Crimea. That didn't go over well. Today we just walked by!     ... the center of town and contains hundreds of tombs filled with a variety of relics dating from the time of the first settlers. Long before the arrival of the Roman's there was substantial wealth here ever apparent by the findings.

    The collection is housed in the Museum of Archeology here with a few pieces on show in Sofia. While I did check out the museum in Sofia there were very few items on display hence the half day trip here ...

    As soon as we'd had breakfast at the hotel in Burgas, we took a taxi to the west bus station. We arrived at 10.30 and noticed that the next bus directly to Veliko Tarnovo wasn't until 13.30, so we decided just to get the next bus to Varna instead. I knew that about 20 buses a day go from Varna to VT, so hopefully we could just hop on one of them soon after and then arrive back in VT early.

    That wasn't to be, unfortunately - our bus arrived ...
