Motor to xxxx canal. Missed hourly bridge opening by 10 mins. Unusual bridge- on a pontoon that rotates to side from one end. Narrow channel for a couple miles through marsh country which opened out to a windy stormy bay open to Ionian Sea. Cut off into a protected bay in a heavily touristed area - lots resorts on beach and heaps of yachts. Would ...

... t the finest choice for an argument-free, restful, bonding experience! Because we have a huge boat and there are eight of us, it needs one to helm, one to navigate, a couple of other bodies to do the sails. The other four can, essentially, have a break and relax. With just two people on board, both are rushing around doing stuff and getting stressed. Add to that limited experience with handling a yacht and, well, need I say more. Today is the day ...
