    ... to me about my wonderful up-coming reservation at ""El Carib" (I know - I am trying to escape from the place) and then cut me off when I took to long to decide which button I had to press next! Decided that it was not the safest of places and that we'd probably get robbed by lurking lady, so booked a hotel a bit further along away the way. We have learnt a valuable lesson today - just stick to the hotel chains. Our new hotel is nice and I will try calling Priceline again ...

They have a web cam always on the stage, so if you want a little taste of Key West, Google Smoking Tuna and enjoy a little of Key West.     ... maybe that's why the hotels were cheap, it's also known for racing. Original land speed records were set here on the long compacted beach. This was until the vehicle power was too much for the loose surface. It was also the place for the biggest race in the US. Daytona 1000. That's a 1000 mile stock car race.
