... close to the marina that has music coming from it. I ate a lamb dish for dinner and since the Greeks eat dinner very late in the day and will frequently make an evening of it, it wasn't until close to 11 PM that we left the taverna.

I went back to the yacht to dress in my club clothes and to go to one of the few dance clubs that remained open over the winter. Although it wasn’t packed, the club was still a lot of fun and we had a great time.

... beautiful place with the village full of white-washed buildings scattered around a maze of little streets and alley ways. Just at it seemed that Santorini was made for couples, Mykonos was make for singles and the party life. This is one place that I want to return to again.

... to not get so caught up with what you've achieved in life, as to get caught up in how you are living and celebrating life. Because I promise you, one day all of our oh-so-important-stuff is going to be washed over just like the Romans. And we'll be a quaint little blip on the map of history.

Okay, so, Mykonos today and then ...

... We've finally arrived on the land of Greek souvlaki! No more imports! This is the 'real deal'!

We decided not to take a tour today, choosing to take our own walking tour! As we walked away from the Port Tender at the marina, it seemed like we were continually walking in a Greek flag as the the colour of choice around the town of Mykonos was white and blue. It seemed, everyone had cube shaped white houses ...

... We went on a short walking tour today which included a viewing of an original El Greco painting in a local church and just viewing the local markets and stores. We sat by the waterfront and enjoyed the view and the calm peace of the town and the opportunity to take things a little slower. ... in the little harbour and Angelo is busy ensuing everyone is well secured - there is now a spiders web of ropes from the front of all the yachts anchoring them to each other and the wharf area, as well as their anchor ropes out holding them in the harbour. The Norwegians nect to us are very impressed - "you have a very good captain!" they tell us. They are even more impressed with us later that evening when we start playing music from our computer over the yachts sound system ...

... A lot of guests were very unhappy that they were "trapped" on the ship while they had to wait for the rest of the guests to come back. They don't care that it's for their safety. Tonight is crew bingo again...I can feel it, the $500 jackpot is mine!! Tomorrow will officially be the middle of my contract. Time is flying by...I will be home in no time! ... doesnt start till 2 am. We got bombed drinking in the street for 50 cents each. We split a tetra package of wine which was soo cheap. Priceless. We went to a club called SPACE. How on Earth did I get to be so lucky?

My family and I went on a cruise of the Greek Islands. We ate a lot, got sea sick once, soaked up the sun, and absorbed the classically beautiful white and blue colours on the islands. There weren't very much ship activities that my sister and I were interested in but Allyson and I did win a bingo game! Mykonos was by far our favorite island because of its beauty.
