5135 Montero Way Petaluma, California, United States, 94954, 707-793-9500
I've decided to write today's entry. Last night was uneventful with the exception that Daniel had his first experience with White Castle burgers and Chicken rings. We don't have White Castle in PA or in FL. In FL we have Krystal. Not exactly the same but close. Our intent was to visit the St Louis Arch and a few other places however when we got up and checked the weather we thought better of it. The remnants of Fay are going to be working up the east coast and it's supposed to bring a lot of...
Greenfield, Indiana, United States ridewithjoe... mostly mallards and little black capped bufflehead ducks. Purple jelly fish lie on the mud flats ; children digging clams shout to avoid stepping on them. Point Reyes Station in upscale Marin County. We take a gander at the shops, check out the market (mostly organic and pricey) and have lunch basking inthe sun. Driving back along the estuary and the mostly quiet winding roads we see the Pacific coast mists ...
Petaluma, California, United States trekkers2... mission there was much closer to the original because they had no money to renovate and re-do. There you can see the original adobe-not at Carmel. Much of it is a reconstruction and it's beautifully done and beautifully landscaped but hardly original. The basilica seems authentic though and it is really lovely. While wandering around on the grounds, I noticed a historical marker (I try to take pictures of all historical markers I see as Susie can attest). This marker commemorated ...
Petaluma, California, United States patgower... just like hooking up a garden hose. Then things got interesting with the waste drain. Good thing I watched the Cruise America video and saw the concepts of the dumping system. That's all I did outside but inside there was more. The refrigerator runs on propane so that wasn't hard to get going. Then there was the water pump that needs to be on if you want to use ...
Dillon Beach, California, United States bogna... park sideways on the worst of them, they are even tough to walk up. and then you run into occasional streets that end in stairs .. kinda like a giant version of Wellington. From the top of Telegraph hill had an awesome downhill run across to lombard street and the bendiest street in SF ... carried to bike up the stairs ... puffed a bit and took photos, the rode down .. lots of fun ! almost made the trip up ...
San Francisco, California, United States th0rped042... proti najbolj znani puscavi v ZDA - Death Valley.
Petaluma, California, United States cb_goes_again... several times!! We even walked over the Harbour bridge - not the whole way - but just so we could say we had been on it!! Only on one of these occasions did the renowned fog show its face! Good old San Fran bridge - glorious in the Californian sunshine - and although it was a close thing - we still bought our hearts away with us - although it is easy to love this place!!
San Francisco, California, United States debntrev... will eventually be at a disadvantage in any kind of marketing/communication career if I can't speak Spanish, etc. And, all of that would be true, but it's not my motivation wanting to learn Spanish and not the motivation for this trip. It is simply a huge personal annoyance and frustration for me that I can't speak another language-and, Spanish is certainly the most practical to learn. Close proximity to all kinds of interesting Spanish-speaking countries is a definite bonus. (And, yes ...
