The upcoming week will just be orientation activities and

... Cheryl& I strolled along the waterfront then back to the magnificent castle. I'll let Cheryl add some more info on the walk through the castle.
They had souvenirs at the Castle shop that Cheryl could not pass up, an actual bow & arrow set made in Sherwood Forest. Despite being of timber, Cheryl will do her best to get this & a wooden sword back into Australia.
Left our rabbit warren of a hotel with no lifts & lots of stairs & small rooms. We had to lug our bags up and then down flights of stairs and you could easily get lost in the maze of corridors. The room was small with barely room to open our our bags. Although small it was nice to not have to step into a bath to have a shower.

... The tour was very fast paced and we stopped at least four times each day so I've actually forgotten some of the things we stopped at.
The tour guide was a charismatic red head girl from Bristol and on the tour we had eleven females and no males at all, unless you count Drew the bus driver. There were two older Austrian ladies travelling together, one Italian girl, one Kiwi girl and six other young Australians of which only ...
