Goodbye Bangkok, hello Chiang Rai
... hours. The stuff on sale was mostly cheap Chinese **** but the food stalls were amazing, selling everything from sausages on sticks to deep fried locusts. At 6pm on the dot, the national anthem played and everyone stood still in silence till it was over then carried on as normal.
