On one occasion two men were sleeping on the sand close to the water, however they hadn't accounted for any waves that might be made by passing boats.... We were unable to see the Aspendos Theatre as it has been closed for renovations, but we did see the reconstructed bridge and the aquaduct. In the 1930's Atatürk, after tourıng the area, declared that theatre was too beautiful not to use and had renovations done and it now is the home of live performances.
