    ... and act like it's the norm. For me it still seems odd. When crossing the street there are very few walk signs so you just have to walk and everyone will just manoeuvre around you. Sometimes on my walk I might see some power wires hanging on the ground off the power poll or some wild dog growling at some people or a truck with 20 people piled on and in it. Or sharing a motor cycle taxi with someone else so 3 people are on one ...

    ... waiting for comments on this one! We visited a Buddhist nunnery where thai women have a choice to become one for a short or long time. Chaya had been one for a short time and was still friendly with the nuns and helped out regularly.     Nice & hot, roof top pool & cross the road to get onto the lovely Sandy beach. Slightly burnt in patches. Been trying out the Thai food. Treck to Tescos yesterday, Tuk-Tuk back! Late night dip last night with beer & cards. Little trip to Dino Park Mini golf today was goooood! Lots of little lizards and crabs about! Thumbs up! ...

    ... and I spent most of the day reading my book; heaven!!!

    For dinner we wanted to try one of the beachfront restaurants, so after a quick look on Tripadvisor (what would we do without the internet?!), we popped down to Octopus - it is unbelievable that you can get two beers, an entree, two mains and two desserts for $40 NZD, and the food is sooo good! We sat and watched the sunset (and the multiple local dogs running around on the beach), and it was lovely.
