... evening we had a super night with Cousin Dan and Sheila in their very nice village of Scotch Corner (I think a population of 350). After very sad good byes we are now back in Chamonix. It's always hard leaving Aunty Chris and Neville. Interesting for us, Chamonix felt like "coming home". But it’s all an experience, doing car repairs en français. I’m amazed really, that at half past four on a Friday afternoon a) anyone is up for doing any work, and b) they can whip the wheel off, and the tyre, and fix a puncture, all within about 15 minutes.

The other thing is I have just had a cappuccino in Italy. There was no chocolate powder on top. Just frothy milky coffee. I have no idea if that’s an authentic cappuccino or not, but it tasted good.

Had a great day exploring yesterday, but I don't really enjoy snowboarding alone. A bit of FB stalking revealed that a guy I met around 10 years ago (on a ski season in Les Deux Alpes), and his wife, were doing a season in Val D'Isere.
