... as far as we where led to believe.
Ordered our ferry tickets and day spa, wandered a bit further and found a cafe with Strongbow on tap so stopped for lunch. The boys caught us up and joined us for awhile. Went out the back of the restaurant looking for a WC and found some guys with a 6 litre bottle of vodka. It was huge.

Woke up a bit blah. The others got up had brekkie and headed to the beach. Decided I wasn't going to get any better staying in the unit so went down for a swim. Lovely. Not as warm as the mainland but amazingly clear.
Went and saw Nikos for lunch. Back to the sun beds and David went and got my goggles. He is a good husband. Went in and found some fish to look at.

... down the road for lovely dinner, back to the supermarket for the bits we forgot before heading back to our beds. I very cleverly body planted myself on the road. Gonna have a beautiful bruise on my knee, wrist is pretty sore up to my elbow. Don't think it's broken ...

... we actually ended up having a nice time there. Ios was spent reading, swimming and beers on the beach in the evening. We upgraded our accommodation to what was described by many as a dog kennel. ... swims in the beautiful Aegean water, had fantastic Greek meals in little family tavernas and explored some great Greek, roman and crusader ruins.
