    ... fortress was constructed according to an old Dutch) system. It is certainly a very well preserved town.

    And so to Oslo and our hostel. A place with no atmosphere. But with a large newly renovated clean room with kitchenette and bathroom, and a supermarket downstairs we were happy.

    Driving through torrential rain we decided to find somewhere to free camp and selected quiet village ski car park, 400m down a narrow gravel track. Perfect we thought until the first of the committee party goers arrived to celebrate the building of their Piste basher's hut!! Thankfully we couldn't hear them for the rain hitting the roof. We even managed to watch the FA Cup final on the German satellite.
