... buildings along the way...The kids have experienced almost every mode of public transport possible on this holiday....bus, tram, train, plane, ferry... On Djurgarden there is an open air museum called Skansen to all things Ye olde in Sweden with some old farm house building dating back to the 1400's, a bakery, glassworks where we watched the glass smith make a couple of nice cut glasses and a jug....a lot of the of the exhibits are not open as they only operate ...

... have programs for music, language, hair dressers, and more! So some programs like science and social studies are college prep classes, and others like auto mechanics are a dead end. Well, not dead end but they go straight to work afterwards. If you fail but want to get a high school equivalent degree, you can do a comviq or something that's basically like a GED. So yeah! Christoffer and I took a subway to Östermalm, the posh area, and went to Saluhall. Saluhall is a year-around indoor market similar to Hötorgethallen except fancier! Oh man, they had very fancy pastries and premade foods. The only remotely reasonably priced item was a meat crepe at 75kr ($10-- it was the size of a small burrito). Little chocolate balls were like 30-40kr. They better be made out of the best Belgian chocolate and premium coconuts that they dehydrated ...

... a great group too with really nice, interesting people, many of whom were traveling solo for a few months. The French-Asian guy from yesterday told me about growing up in France as a French-Asian person, and I found it very interesting!
