Hello from Uppsala, Sweden!

As in, the second to last stop on our tour! We are here until Tuesday morning, take a ferry to Finland until Saturday morning, and return to Uppsala on Saturday night. We are here until December 17th.

... of these fish recipes from her before I forget). Yesterday we drove around Siljansjö, which is a large lake and then checked out the town of Mora and went to a Dalicarlian wooden horse factory. Most of the rest of the time we've been hiking around the area and enjoying scrumptious pastries. So soon my journey will be coming to a close as I return to NY. Today was a little more of a relaxing day, trying to get over the full week of traveling.

The day was pretty dull, going to mall in the afternoon, spending way to much time on the computer till supper.

... hours later, I decided to get ready for the day. It had rained over the past few hours, and when I opened my window to let some air in and turned away, I heard a very disgruntled "meow' behind me. It turned out that Molly, the cat, had been stuck outside in the rain, and she was not happy. I let her in, and jumped around trying to stop her from drying herself off on my legs.

... but as I thought about it, the scene that they put in with all of the people raising their wands over the body in respect. The only thing that really bugged me over the movie was the last scene, in which Ron said nothing at all. He was just sitting there in the back, saying nothing. It just came off as a little strange.

Later that night, as things calmed down a little bit from all of the packing that was going on, Sofie, Annika and I decided to watch a film and then hit the hay.

Today involved a pretty relaxing morning, sleeping in and just getting ready for our trip to Finland. We were going to be leaving Stockhom tonight, at about five, and would arrive in Helsinki at about ten the next morning.

Today was more of a relaxing day, just spent getting over jet lag and re-associating myself with my surroundings. I decided that I should take some time for some shopping and wandered over to the mall. For the size of the town, Valbo has an amazing mall. Tons of different options for shopping, and just happening to be there during summer sale season was pretty awesome. I think that I probably came across as a little too happy to people working and other shoppers ...

... I also had a pair of tights that I used for my occasional going out in style with a dress, "yes I do have one dress". That was used as a thermal, since I got rid of my old ones while I was in Cuba and thought to myself, I won't be needing these anymore! Henrik on the other hand, had 8 T-shirts, 3 shorts and 2 trousers and his 2 heavy duty hoodies. After travelling around in Sweden for the past week I returned to Uppsala and unwound at the "Snerkes" student nation. Student nations are pretty much like American Fraterneties or Sororities, except operate somewhat more like bar/restaurant/clubs than living quarters. I just got to Sweden 2 days ago. It's great to be back here. My flight on 'wizz-air' was comfortable and packed with Polish youth headed to Sweden in search of work. Anna had this great crayfish party at her place yesterday.
