... life was a bar over the road, with the whole flickering light to add to the eerie feel. After walking throught the creeky gate (!) we thouht we would give it a go in the pub for some grub. I (Kt) was greeted to a great cheer by a large table of rowdy men, one even high-fiving me. The greeting was quickly silenced as Ashley walked in behind! We had a kebab and a beer, and then caught the train an hour and a half later.

... nice weather!  Oh, also, we were only 8km from Norway, so when we needed to grab some groceries we drove to Norway!! It was much different from Sweden since we didn't go that far, but we did go through a really cute town!   Well, I think that's it for now.  I am going to Ireland on Monday so I will be writing about that when I get back!  After that my traveling will be slowing down a bit because I will actually have class!  I hope things are good with all of you!   Love, Haley

... is like a female teenage human! There we learnt that moose can jump as high as 2.5 meters and when they run they can take wide steps as far as 4 meters apart from each other. A nice sunny drive south. Made quite a milage. Tired we rolled into Mora. Parked at the railwaystation by the lake. Walked for a bit, asked round for a good preice on accomodation. Found a Best Western. Had a few beers and settled in for the night.

On our road south, we stopped in Sveg After a long journey through the swedish forests, after some close encounters with reindeers and even more so milage. A. & I hit the town of Sveg. We were hungry and setteled for a restaurant, close to the town square. She had a ham salad and I had the infamous Banana Pizza with bearnaise.

We celebrated Canada Day with a little 3 day, 47 km back pack trip through central Sweden. The scenery was beautiful and we got to traverse many a pass. Lots of wildflowers, tarns and rushing creeks. The creeks provided a never ending supply of delicious drinking water. We are definitely spoiled on the H2O here as its clear, cold and you can drink right out of the river.
