... kicked in and after the limited assessment I could realized that we needed to call an ambulance. After the ambulance came and got this person on their way to the hospital I decided it was time to call it a night. The irony of the entire situation is how only a few days earlier I had been talking with a friend about how I missed working as an EMT and being actively being able to administer treatments and such. ... but looking back to when I just started a mere nine weeks ago I have noticed a considerable change. Gone are the days of questioning if I made the right decision in choosing to go to medical school in Sweden, as are most of the doubts I have of if I will be able to be successful here. It feels strange to say that I've changed in such a short period of time but the reality is that I have. It also makes me realize how much change lays ahead of me and I can't wait to see where it takes ...

... it still doesn't quite satisfy the itch. Analyzing a patient case on paper can't provide the same rush as running a call. Lucky for me I was able to scratch the itch earlier today by serving as a patient for an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) class for a group of doctors. ... morning we were a bit lazy but after a late breakfast we started off again, hiking in a different direction along the lake. The sun was shining and we were happy to have some exercise. Unfortunately the weather began to change around noon time so we headed back to enjoy lunch with our hosts before they drove us back to Katrineholm for our return trip to Stockholm.

I have a a few nice photos of our trip to "Fredriksdal".
