          Spacious and comfortable hotel, but why the internet such a problem in this class of hotel is a mystery.

          We began the morning by taking a boat ride to start our hike. It was the end of the famous Milford Track (12km), another one of the "Great Walks" of NZ.           We left Queenstown on a gondola up the mountain and then hiked from Bob's Peak. It was a 5k hike with 500 meter (1645 ft)elevation gain to the Ben Lomond saddle. Bob and I separated there.
