This hotel is perfect in every way, a gorgeous hotel that creates an atmosphere from America 1950s where you almost expect to pass Walt himself in the corridor! I love everything about it

We stayed in a Park View room during the Tinkerbell 1/2 Marathon weekend.

The room was great, overlooking both the pool and Disney's California Adventure. Noise was no issue (from the pool) and the room was neat and clean.

We enjoyed the early morning entry into DCA via the entrance from the hotel. The line gets long for this extra magic, but goes quickly if everyone has their tickets/passes ready.

I've stayed at all three Disney properties at the Disneyland Resort. Each one is wonderful and each hotel has a very distinct personality.

    An awesome Hotel

We were here for three nights. Rooms were well equipped, comfortable and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is, as you would expect, well set up to cater for families. If you are visiting the DisneyLand theme parks then it is impossible to find accommodation in a better location. The hotel has its own entrance to the California Adventure theme park. We loved it.

Our very first time at Disneyland, travelling all the way from Sydney Australia, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The park was easily accessable from the hotel as well as Downtown Disney. It felt like we were in Disneyland 24 hours a day. The service was impeccible, especially when we dined at the Napa Rose. Our waiter, Saucy, made the evening exceptional. I highly recommend the Grand Californian.

Patti's pedometer app indicated we walked over 7 miles. We didn't walk as far in one day when we went to Alaska. I discover my quadriceps. They are not happy.
Maddie's favorite ride is the Autopia. She drove better than Noreen. If this were a dirt track we'd be left in the dust.

or CAP for short is where we began the adventure. Rode the Radiator Springs twice. Won both times. The ride fools you by starting slowly. At the end you may need an air sickness bag. Great fun.
We had breakfast at Ariel's Grotto. It was a "character" breakfast in that 4 "princesses" visited each table. Madison asked me to ask Rapunzel if her …

We are staying in the Grand Californian, an old time resort, dark and woody. The registration clerk goes over our options including "gaming". "Blackjack?", I said. "No silly", she responds.
I ask her if they gave her a "perky" test when she was hired.

Today was our last day of visiting the Disneyland parks. We all enjoyed it very much and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I think Mum loved it more than anyone else. This morning we had breakfast with Chip and Dale (Disney characters), this was really good. The rides were better at California Park but Disneyland was better …

    Beverly hills cop for real

A travel blog entry by kayleighanddan

... nav already had a view point programmed in so we drove there with ease and a kind but slightly crazy American lady with the biggest camera I've ever seen insisted in taking photos of us on our camera so that was nice. There is a lot of pictures of me in front of something, then dan in front of the same thing.  Next on the agenda - Beverly hills! It was meant to get us there in 10 mins but took us 45mins instead because of traffic. ...
