Disney's Grand Californian - On Disneyland Resort Property Anaheim

We used it as a base to get to Vegas (seperate blog!) and just to chill-out.<br><br>On our last day in Anaheim (while waiting for the shuttleback to LA) we discovered the Anaheim Garden Walk shopping mall..still at very new stages and very quiet. But really liked the atmosphere and believe it has heaps of potential. The California Pizza Kitchen there did mouth-watering BBQ chicken pizza... it's the best we've ever had.

... plane took off at 7:30. About 30 minutes late. They promised they would go faster to get us there in time and were true to their word. This flight was much smoother then our first flight with Callie. Carter was happy the whole way and everyone around us loved both of them. Now I know this is Disney and that corny is top of the menu but sometimes the schtick is just too much to bear and you just want to scream. Then again maybe it is just me. Note: I must head to Disney Hong Kong and check that out as well and see how corny that is. Next time I am up in HK is probably the best option. Probably one ...

... here, we moved on to Hollywood, where we stayed for 5 days. 2 days were taken up visiting universal studios and 3 were used exploring the walk of fame, all the framous theatres, the sunset strip, a huge guitar shop and spotting the hollywood sign. 8 days in LA was more than enough, and we left for the grand canyon on the train, more than satisfied. One thing about LA, it'll burn a hole in your wallet!
