We carried on to Clearwater Beach…the drive was just under 2 hours. We checked in at the Hilton, and even though it was already dark out, we know that this is a place we will LOVE!! We couldn't wait for morning to start exploring, so we headed out to Pier 60 (right outside the hotel!!), walked through a market, found a fantastic playground, and watched a bit of a free outdoor movie! So excited for the days to come!!

The Magic Kingdom is all Disney princesses and Mickey & Minnie......and shopping -for a younger crowd!

Finally, it was Test Track time. The boys built a car, and the girls built a car. Guess which one won?? Yep, the girls! Our purple car rocked!! ;)

We headed back into the World Showcase to get the most amazing spot for the Illuminations fireworks show. There was a little spot behind the Fish & Chips ...

... we wanted bar three when the heavens opened up. This was not some light rain and we ran for cover into the nearest Starbucks. After half an hour it was clear this wasn't going to let up and we decided to take the plunge (literally) in our newly bought ponchos into the rain and make our way for the shuttle.

The not quite watertight bus saw us keeping our ponchos on for the entire ride back to the hotel where we got into some dry clothes and went in ...
