Our family of 8 had a wonderful 7 night stay at this hotel. [after we arrived home we discovered an overcharge of $250 on our bill but, a few emails, later we have the refund and an apology ] The hotel is just 10 minutes from the airport, next door to a modern air conditioned shopping complex, a 10 min walk from the Hard Rock Cafe and across the road from Waterbom park. Our Private Garden pool view rooms were very central for access to pool, breakfast, kids club and restaurants. The rooms were very quiet and dark so easy to sleep in in the mornings. We were also given vouchers for complimentary drinks and spa services. The spa is a beautiful new building with a wide range of services worthwhile visiting for a look or a massage. The staff were very friendly and professional. We also appreciated that we were able to get a 4pm late checkout.

First days stay has been unfaultable. The bar service and the meals are both of a high standard.

There were so many dance floors in the place. I had the most amazing night out, got to witness Indonesian dancing performances on stage. It was full on and so worth it!!

The staff greet us warmly and we are shown to our room. Again we are astounded by the decor and size. We unpack and head off to our first dinner in Sanur at Warung Coconut Tree. One cocktail, a couple of Bintangs and 2 main meals for $20. You can't beat that for ...

Deciding we'd enjoy a few more relaxing days, we had a slow morning before curry for lunch at Sitara. The afternoon was split between an internet cafe and our Kobos, which allowed us to dodge the rain until dinner at Pura Sila warung.

We then got some sleep before going to Lebong cafe for the 4am World Cup quarterfinal match between Brazil and Colombia. The time difference and our relatively rural surroundings over the last few weeks meant that this was the first match we'd ...
