Our family of 8 had a wonderful 7 night stay at this hotel. [after we arrived home we discovered an overcharge of $250 on our bill but, a few emails, later we have the refund and an apology ] The hotel is just 10 minutes from the airport, next door to a modern air conditioned shopping complex, a 10 min walk from the Hard Rock Cafe and across the road from Waterbom park. Our Private Garden pool view rooms were very central for access to pool, breakfast, kids club and restaurants. The rooms were very quiet and dark so easy to sleep in in the mornings. We were also given vouchers for complimentary drinks and spa services. The spa is a beautiful new building with a wide range of services worthwhile visiting for a look or a massage. The staff were very friendly and professional. We also appreciated that we were able to get a 4pm late checkout.

First days stay has been unfaultable. The bar service and the meals are both of a high standard.

Some old proper disgusting local woman was trying to get me to dance with her, i was having none of it! The biggest club on the strip was called Skybar. It costs money to get in unlike the rest of the places and is meant to be really good. We gave it a bash but it really wasnt bryans scene, he is more of a pub guy. We did ...

... They were so gracious and generous, I was humbled by the experience and will never forget it. I could write for hours about their belief in karma and destiny, but I think I'll save that when I summarize this experience. While we returned to the hotel early, by 2pm, nothing could top this. I relaxed for a while in my room for a while and then explored the streets for a couple of hours. We all met up for another great meal at 8pm and another day in Bali was winding down. Loving ...

... give them. It was amazing how used to people they are and I got some fantastic shots of big males, small juveniles and mothers with their newborn infants (many only 1 week old). The monkeys seemed pretty happy with the deal in general and it was great to see them so closely. They also were still very cheeky and would climb on people for bananas, steal peoples waterbottles and anything else they could get their hands on.

Joe is one of those people that just has an aura that sparks your imagination. Trinkets from his travels dangle from his left ear and his office is covered with masks, designs, and books from every corner of the planet. He leans back and looks to the ceiling for his answer. “Where is the favorite place ...
