... were none there. Others would hit on only to roll back to the fairway or off the side or back. I think the stimpmeter would have been around 15 (if I had one in my bag). The sand was another big issue. These traps were huge with lots of distance to the pin. The problem was once again the speed of the greens. Once you came out of a trap, you had to stop the ball on the green. We tried to do that with limited success. ...

... nothing hard at all, just first time off the pavement. Then took the 7 mile dirt road into Peralta trail head. Still a good, but washboardy, road. Ate half of our leftover out there and will eat the rest tomorrow. Back home with a stop in the park at the car wash hose to take the dust off the car. Phil got me good with the water hose! Water was dripping of my body! Tried to program the gate clicker into the car system-will know later if it worked! It did not! Try ...

The whole of the Phoenix area used to be just one big ranch and this part has a few old buildings with swinging doors saloons and wooden walk ways..also many red indian shops selling dream catchers to colourful feather headdresses.
