... to exit the final train station to walk to the hostel it had 2 exits when I was only expecting one. Fortunately I chose the right side to go out from and managed to make it to the hostel! Currently sitting on my bed at the hostel in the evening sunshine. My room-mates (7 Argentinian boys) are all out so I have a bit of peace and quiet.

... went with Balazs on his Communists Walk and Beer Tour which was due back at 4.30. So when he didn't return until almost 7pm, I thought the obvious, but no. Balazs (I haven't lost anyone yet) had come up against Kevin (I want to take my photos). So while Kevin was taking a photo 50m away with his back to the group, they all jumped on a tram! ... office to get a ticket for the full guided tour. The entire area of town was completely mobbed. Maybe people were thinking that because it's Easter Sunday, everything but the Jewish area would be closed. Maybe people who were in town for a while knew that the Jewish sites would be closed for the next 2 days due to Passover. Maybe it was just the weekend rush. I don't know. Because I'd read about scams and stuff in Prague I was a little bit suspicious of people but in fact everyone we met on the street was really helpful. Its a shame your opinion of a place gets coloured by a few crimes.
