We spent our days meandering around the streets looking at the various buildings ranging from Roman times to Neo Gothic. They are very well retained and there is a lot of restoration continually happening. The first evening we had dinner at a traditional Czech pub after a tip off from the doorman, beef goulash and dumplings all round.

I admit we
didn’t even buy a postcard but we surely liked the Czech beer and so do the
Czechs! Supposedly the Belgians are the champion beer drinkers but the Czechs
must come in second.

It was sad
to see so many buildings ruined by graffiti. The paint doesn’t seem to be dry
after a restoration and somebody has messed it up already. What a shame!

... ever traveling through Europe, look for FlorenceForFun. The tour guides are young and fun (like me), and are surprisingly educated. So even though we were scheduled to go on a walking tour, it was kept short, and there was lots of time left for free time. They even took us out each night to the best bars and clubs, so yeah, pretty much the coolest and best tour guides!

The trip was so great and I really enjoyed Prague! I loved visiting the John ...

... wall an 5 of us got caught on the train without a ticket €40 fine each ****! Karma catching up after getting through all of Budapest an Prague with no tickets.. Organised a pub crawl for all 40 that night, starts with 2 hours free **** so goes one way. Huge night.. Have a knife pulled on me an others at one point then hit a crazy underground club. Hung as he'll the next morning an off to Cesky Krumlov for a rafting pub crawl! Get 5 rafts an they just let ...
