This hotel was really amazing, beautiful entry, amazing and comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet included with the room is really well done. The spa, gym and pools are in great shape, lots of features and the prices are good. Wine tastings in the evening a very nice touch.

Pulling up to the Diplomatic, you know you're staying somewhere plush! A very grand entryway for a very grand entrance. We had a triple room with views of the Andes that blew my mind every time I looked out the window.

The bathroom was a clear cubical looking into the room but luckily curtains provided sufficient privacy. Nice touches in the room: good quality toiletries and lovely little biscuits left out for us in the living area.

Very comfortable. The staff were very professional and courteous and the daily wine tasting in the private tasting area was an especially nice touch. Even if you've been out all day drinking, always room for one more!

Much like the olive ols the subtileties of the different wines were largely lost on me. I can usually tell there's a difference, but not what makes them different. We sat out on the balcony overlooking the vineyard which was all very nice. Our last stop was ...

... Martin park later that afternoon to hang out and share some 'mate'. Mate is the drink of Argentina, it's kind of like green tea.. Or black tea depending on whether you believe Peter or Lisa. Managing to navigate the huge park to find our rendezvous point whilst avoiding all the areas Oscar had warned us to be careful of (the park has a bit of a bad name around the outskirts for robbery), we found a nice spot in the sun to share some mate with our new friends. After much ...
