... mighty river until I boarded the train for Koblenz. The Cathedral seats the Archbishop and was founded in the first century AD. It was the Roman Capital of Germania. There is much information to indicate that it is considered the cultural capital of the Rhineland.During the war it had the daylights bombed out of it.

... between me and him weren't prepared either...I think I broke them.  After a wonderful reunion hug, we made our way to the car, and this is where you can clearly tell I'm not European.  I went straight for the left side of the car.  But no, unless I was going to drive, I needed to move.  The terribly funny antics of Kai and Lisa had already started and they didn't stop.  We drove to the very top of the multistory carpark to get out. ... At these markets we came across something better than mulled wine..mulled cocktails served in hip flasks!! I very much enjoyed their best seller called 'Holy ****.' We also sampled the delicious mushroom casserole - it was a feast for the senses. ... less than 30 minutes before take-off, they could have easily said I was too late. But mercifully they let me on. Safe.
