For our mains, we had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, it was very nice!

For dessert, I had pecan tart, which was ok, but a bit dry and Graeme had trifle, which he says was great.

... after dinner. After dressing in our formal attire, we went to dinner. Tonight's food was just about as nice as last night. Graeme had a chicken and apple salad for his starter and I had chilled banana and rum soup with Tahitian vanilla cream. I thought I would try it as I had never thought of that combo. It is normally on exhibition in the library of the cathedral, but during certain important religious high days it is attached to the pulley mechanism and filled with 40 kg of charcoal and incense. Today was the Fiesta Nacional de Espaņa hence it's appearance.

Being Spain, there were several worthy contenders, but one man beat the others by a wide margin. 14" maximum. And that is being generous. Good game.

A statue of Jules Verne looks over the marina. He is sitting on a four legged octopus, looking out to sea. He visited Vigo and set some of his famous 20000 Leagues under the Sea in Vigo Bay.
