... or a good place just to enjoy a glass of wine and a mere feast! I think the heat is dreadful ! In Corfu the language is Greek and they use the Euro. With all the news of late with Greece being in such financial trouble it will be interesting to see if there is any visible effects. Hello is Yassou (YAH-sue) . adEE is Goodbye. We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.

Probably the most interesting thing about Butrint was the prevalence of shrines dedicated to the Nymphs, from where people made offerings to them. I mistakenly thought ...

... lush! The other activity that had detained me from my blog is the ongoing war between me and the mosquitos that are out in force due to the wet weather. Honestly, if someone really wanted to find Gadaffi they would use mosquitos whilst he was having a shower because these little *******s are like white flesh seeking missiles. Clearly all the lovely new tablets my doctor has given me have only heightened the allure of my O negative blood type because I am like ...
