Brian gallantly changed the tyre (my job was confined to holding the umbrella for him) but I was aghast at the spare - a half size runt of a thing that was pretty flat too! Still thete was no other option, so I drove carefully back down all the zigzags through pouring rain - ...

... cold drinks. It was an absolute dream. No dramas, no effort. The hardest thing we faced all day was trying to think of many-a-song for our ultimate playlist.

That night we got all dolled up and decided to make a night of it. We had some drinks and went to dinner fairly late and just did it all family style where we all chose something different and we all just shared.
