We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

I started walking, trying to measure the density of foreigners as a proxy for how close I was to touristy stuff. Eventually I entered a square of some kind [editor's note: Monastiraki]. ... fizetni, de még pénzzel is csak egész jegyért és busz előtt tíz perccel. Há mondom, no problemo, akkor hol itt a bankomat? Hát olyan itt nincsen. Akkor hol van? A központban. Mivel az ide 2km-re van, ha siet az úrfi, még visszaérhet a buszra...]

I will shortly follow with the adventures of the other two days with more swimming, Sissi’s Achilleion Palace and scenic vista of Kerkyra after a rocky “drum forestier” ride with an ATV!
