... Aus. We saw Anni and Michael in Munich in May. We all went out to lunch at a beautiful outdoor Tyrolean restaurant in the hills overlooking Kufstein. Back to relax and sit in the garden of the cottage overlooking the lake that had belonged to Anni's maternal grandmother. Drove the few kilometres to Oberammergau. I had been there in 2010 with my sister and brother in law to see the Passion Play, performed all summer of each decade since 17th century in thanks for being spared the plague. ... and with snow. At one point Scarlett counted 26 'waterfalls' on one stretch of road. The roads here are good, easy driving. We're halfway to Nenzing, our next stop - it is Austria/Leichenstein boarder (rather than Switzerland) but Leichenstein is tiny so we'll pass through on our next leg. Today was another day of not much as Ruby's toe had not recovered from the cut yesterday. To start the day Jess decided that she needed to have a look at the cut and clean it up a bit so the bandage came off to sort it out. Jess tried to clean her foot to get a look at the cut and our German friends, who obviously spoke no English talked amongst themselves about how to best use their first aid kit and wouldn't let Jess do anything to look at the cut and we just let them do what they were doing as they seemed like they knew what they were doing and we assumed maybe she was a nurse or something.
