It rained all night and we woke to a bright sunny day……….for
about an hour, during which time we managed to have our breakfast in the sun.
The clouds came back but at least without rain and so we jumped on our bikes
and set off into Solothurn town where there was a market on the go. Lots of
local agricultural produce was on display with vegetables, flowers and ...

Like a huge waterslide that goes on for minutes rather than seconds (it really depends on how far upstream you want to walk), and one where you don't need to climb up stairs or go to the hot tub to warm up. Admit it, even you could be persuaded to get up and enjoy the Great Outdoors if that was on the agenda.  Case ...

... our amazing coffee and catch up on old stories, Stefan insisted we see the famous Grizzly Bears of Bern. In a sanctuary in the middle of town, the bears are a real highlight. Lucky for us, and even more so for Stefan, close by is a brewery serving incredible beer (surprisingly) and even better food! Again, overlooking the beautiful city we enjoyed a huge local dish of Rosti (comprising of onion, potato, cheese, egg and some spices). Sounds pretty ...
