It rained all night and we woke to a bright sunny day……….for
about an hour, during which time we managed to have our breakfast in the sun.

... on we went home to have a classic Swiss dinner of Raclette - have a look at the Wikipedia entry about Raclette, I have to make it back in Hamilton. Basically cheese is melted under a special grill at the table, then scraped onto smashed potatoes and eaten with gherkins and mayo and other yummy bits! ... so I had to move to a new hotel. The new hotel was absolutely beautiful and about 50 Euro's cheaper. The rooms were all modern, working wifi, and the breakfast was out of this world. I have now crossed off the Novotel in Freiburg from my list of hotels and The Best Western Premier Hotel Victoria is permanently on!

The rest of our day was pretty uneventful after that aside from an interesting dinner. We were starving (as has been the norm for our trip haha someone get me some steak now!) so we gave in and just went to one of the few restaurants we could find open.
