It rained all night and we woke to a bright sunny day……….for
about an hour, during which time we managed to have our breakfast in the sun.
The clouds came back but at least without rain and so we jumped on our bikes
and set off into Solothurn town where there was a market on the go. Lots of
local agricultural produce was on display with vegetables, flowers and ...
... a movie and went to sleep pretty quickly. Ryen slept until there was about 45 minutes till landed. Well, so did Steve for that matter! I was the only one that didn't sleep as I felt the need to keep a watchful eye.
We landed about 11AM (3AM CST) and was greeted by our driver. We all piled into a huge Mercedes SUV (not at glamourous as it sounds) and Reed, Ryen, and myself slept the majority of the way to our home......
... so I had to move to a new hotel. The new hotel was absolutely beautiful and about 50 Euro's cheaper. The rooms were all modern, working wifi, and the breakfast was out of this world. I have now crossed off the Novotel in Freiburg from my list of hotels and The Best Western Premier Hotel Victoria is permanently on!
I left Freiburg a little early on Friday to make sure I could find my hotel in Basel, Switzerland easily. ...

When they had banquets there, there were usually about 600 guests who ate and drank for 7 days and nights in a large reception hall, only leaving to go to the WC as they say. When sleepy, they just lay down on the floor. See pictures and click on them for more info.

safety copy of your pictures on a dvd and send it home. Loosing your
pictures is probably the only 'impossible-to-replace' loss you can have.
